Job description
Looking for part-time work? We can offer part-time 15 hours, 22.5 or 30 hours per week, what would suit you best? No experience necessary we will train you.
We offer a range of shifts;-
7:00am - 2:30pm
2:30pm - 10:00pm
8:00am- 4:00pm
Midday - 8:00pm
You must be ok to work two weekends per month or if it suits you better you can do every weekend.
You'll be part of our friendly team of support workers based in Wheathampstead, a village located between St. Albans and Luton, where we support five adults aged 18 to 60 who each have a learning disability.
We have a lot of fun here! Everyone likes to get out and about as much as possible and we regularly go for walks and visit the cinema. You'll join in with other popular activities such as visiting the local zoo and the ice skating rink. Closer to home, we make the most of the scenic village with frequent shopping trips that normally end in a local coffee shop or pub.
At home, people enjoy sensory activities utilising our range of specialist equipment. Not everything is high tech though - sometimes you just can't beat reading a good story!
You'll take your turn working shifts on a rota basis which include days, evenings and weekends.
