What does a Support Worker do at Hillingdon?
An exciting opportunity for a Support Worker role has arisen within 3 Colham Road, a purpose build residential setting for 13 residents with learning disabilities and complex health needs. The home offers a warm and comfortable environment, that acknowledges each service users’ uniqueness, empowering them to participate in their care and treatment.
About you
As a Support Worker at 3 Colham road, you will be in an excellent position to support residents in the following areas:
Health and wellbeing: Assisting service users to make healthier choices, working alongside other professionals to shape care around the individual’s needs, attending medical appointments, and supporting service users with their day-to-day care requirements.
Community and social activities: Our service users are fully engaged in the local community. As a support worker, you will profile social activities around the individuals’ social interest, and hobbies.
Staff at 3 Colham road, respect the dignity and preferences of our service users, as well performing their own part in establishing an environment that’s warm, welcoming, and comfortable.
The applicant must have previous experience at a similar level, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within adult care sector.
