Adult Support Worker – Moira 20 - 50 hours per week
The Role
Jark continue to work with their long-term Client in the Crumlin area on the recruitment of Support Workers to support their service users with complex needs and help them develop daily living skills as well as encourage participation in physical and social activities within their communities.
Hours: Day and Night duties (flexible shift work)
Hours: Day shift, night shift, overnights – the service operates 365 days of the year, 24 hours per day.
You will be supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental ill health, acquired brain injury, dementia and people on the autistic spectrum.
What you need:
· at least 6 months’ experience in a similar position (preferably paid)
· be resilient and motivated
· have excellent communication skills
· be passionate about making a difference to the lives of others
Typical duties will include supporting the service user with:
· shopping
· cleaning
· personal care
· budgeting
· cooking
· travelling
