Bradford Homeless Partnership are offering an opportunity to join their team as a Housing Support Worker. Salary, £24,652.00 per annum, 35 hours per week. Benefits include 6 weeks annual leave plus statutory holidays, pension scheme, a contributory healthcare plan, travel expenses, access to and funding for continuos professional development (CPD).
The Bradford Homeless Partnership offers short-term temporary and emergency accommodation for people in the Bradford who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
About the role…
You will be responsible for assisting families in the practical and emotional aspects of maintaining their accommodation, providing flexible support to meet an individual’s needs around their physical, mental and emotional health and well-being. You will complete risk assessment based on the persons needs and support requirements and deliver tenancy ready training to enable people to move on to longer term housing.
You must hold a valid driving licence and own a vehicle, insured for business use. You must be available to work some weekends, bank holidays as required
