Job description
We are looking for experienced support workers to work with 6 service users with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour in the Brierley Hill area
The ideal candidate will need to be restraints trained ideally and preferably have 12 months previous support work experience, used to challenging clients, be passionate and enthusiastic additionally able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team
The successful candidate will be able to:
- follow and adhere to care plans and the risk assessments put into place
- Engage in planned activities with the service users
- Assist service users with various day to day tasks
- Work in accordance with the risk assessments put into place for each individual
- Approach personal care in a professional manner promoting dignity, respect, and independence
- Follow company procedures throughout
- To be able to accurately follow care plans and complete paperwork
- Ensure you are actively following the company safeguarding policy and report any concerns to management
- Be willing to work flexible shifts also to include working some weekends and bank holidays
