What you will be doing
You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with learning disabilities at our site in Twickenham. Whether you have experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Care Worker, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people lead a valued and fulfilled life.
No two days will be the same as during shifts, you will have access to the company vehicle, and you will take pride in safely escorting and driving staff, visitors and service users to local destinations across Twickenham and Southwest London surroundings.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of you; being able to do something today that they couldn’t do last week.

Where you will be working
Location: 1 Lichfield Lane, Twickenham, London TW2 6LA
You will be working at Lichfield Lane House, providing support for people who may be living with severe learning disabilities, autism and behaviours. Service users may also have profound and multiple communication difficulties, sensory impairments and physical health problems.
You will working alongside a multidisciplinary team to promote social inclusion through meaningful community engagement. You will support service users to develop social networks and engage in a range of activities to live purposeful lives.
All what we expect from you is:
- We are encouraging males drivers to apply for this Support Worker vacancy based in Twickenham, and must hold the UK driving licence, as part of the role, you will be using the company vehicle to escort the staff and service users to the local destinations. This is to accommodate the needs of our service users in the most efficient manner.
