Has Monday morning left you uninspired with your current job? Are you finding it difficult to get excited about starting a new week? Maybe it is time to think about a change!
In one of our supported living homes in Cambridgeshire, we support six adults (five women and one gentleman) to live independently and enjoy various activities. We are looking for new full-time or part-time Support Worker who will make a real difference in their life. They would like their new friend (because at Dimensions, our colleagues are more than just support workers) to be enthusiastic about their activities and support them by going on Disney cruises, to the hydrotherapy pool, going to the cinema, bowling, regular visits to the Zoo, going out for lunch and dinner and going on holiday, whether that's abroad or caravan holidays in the UK!
Fun, fulfilling and no two days are the same! You will be supporting with personal care, mobility and meal preparation including support with feeding and introducing new foods into their diet.
We recruit based on values, so whilst previous experience is always welcome, it is certainly not essential as full specialist training and support will be provided. We just need to come with an open mind, shared values, and an eagerness to learn.
Why choose Dimensions?
We offer a salary advance scheme where you can access up to 50% of the money you have earned before payday.
30 days annual leave pro rata with the option to buy and sell leave.
If you refer a friend to us and if they are successfully employed, you'll receive a £500 bonus.
We offer paid training and options to further develop your career through funded accredited courses.
Bike to Work scheme and discounts on meals, shopping, entertainment, gym membership and mobile phone tariffs.
We are a values-driven organisation that puts people with learning disabilities and their families at the heart of everything we do.
We care about our colleagues and are enthusiastic about our comprehensive well-being strategy and staff listening network.
Dimensions are proud to be one of very few social care organisations that have been recognised by the Great Places to Work programme in 2022.
