Support Worker
Sheffield S5
Part Time - 15-30hrs a week, days and sleep ins
Pay: £11ph
UK Driving License required
We are looking for support workers to join our established team to support a gentleman in his early 40's who lives in his own supported living home in Sheffield S5.
He is kind, compassionate, affectionate, and very independent and is looking for someone who can provide him with emotional and moral support and encouragement within his day-to-day life and activities he loves and thrives to do.
Do you enjoy doing the following?
- Shopping trips
- Going out for food, coffee shops
- Arts and crafts - getting creative.
- Watching and reminiscing old TV programmes
The role will involve:
- Helping people learn the skills they need to live the life they choose.
- Supporting with behaviour and emotional distresses
- Support with shopping, housework including cleaning and laundry.
- Supporting with medication
Shifts times: 8am - 10.30pm including sleep in, you will be required to complete at least one sleep in a week
