Creative Support is looking for warm, caring and proactive individuals to provide person centred care and support at our respite service in the Trafford area. We are looking for warm, reliable and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our friendly and welcoming staff team in the Flixton area of Trafford.
We provide an emergency respite service for people who have learning disabilities and/or autism in a shared living setting. Our service users like to do a range of activities, such as going out for drives/walks, accessing day centres and playing musical instruments!
Support Worker Duties:
- A commitment to making a positive difference in individuals’ lives
- Develop and sustain warm and trusting relationships with service users
- Encourage and support service users to express their needs, views and concerns
- Support service users to maintain the safety, security, cleanliness and comfort of their homes
We are looking for candidates from all walks of life. No previous care experience is needed, just a passion for providing person-centred care and support and working in a bright, friendly environment! Full training is provided by our Creative Support Training Academy, as is the opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
