Position: Support Worker

Salary: £11.15 - £11.45 per hour

About Your Role

• Ty Hendy is an innovative residential service responding to the unique needs of up to seventeen younger and older adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs, the service is set up within three specific person-centred settings.
• At Ty Hendy we focus on providing a meaningful and quality of life service for the people who live here, delivering active support through a person centred support plan for each individual, which is tailored to their own wishes and aspirations.
• You’ll be responsible for supporting an inclusive lifestyle within the community as individuals attend local colleges or day trips out.
• You’ll develop greater independence and daily living skills by assisting with the upkeep of the service, preparing meals, shopping and domestic duties.
• You’ll provide help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing whilst working across various shift patterns including early, late and weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.

• You’ll then have an interview scheduled at the service and have your chance to go down and meet the team.
• If you are successful we’ll go through an Onboarding Process obtaining a Free DBS Check and References.
• You’ll then start with our 3-day online induction with our dedicted Learning & Development team prior to returning to the service to continue your growing career at Consensus.
