Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

You will be required to support a Lady & Gentleman in there spacious bungalow in Belmont, Durham.

All of the people we support have there own likes and dislikes, a few of these are:
  • Watching horror movies & being scared
  • Socialising with friends & family.
  • Movie nights & Ice skating.
  • Bongos Bingo!!!

Our staff team are great, and they support the people we support to:

  • Maintain there homes
  • Complete personal care
  • Enjoy an active social life
  • Living there best life possible
  • communicate and understand subtle gestures of communication- not always verbal.
  • Prepare meals

We need all our team to be trained in mental health, epilepsy, medication administration and safeguarding. For a successful candidate all training will be provided and paid for! .

Most importantly remembering the people we support require to be included in any daily decisions and encouraged to be as independent as possible. We need our staff members to support the people we support to live there Best lives Possible

You will be willing to take the time to get to know us and communicate clearly so I know what's happening. It's important that you're reliable and that we have common interests, but you also need to be able to get on with the rest of my team.
