Job description
Support Workers required to work 2-1 in a family home in the Shirley/Croydon area. You will be working as part of a small and friendly team with a male adult with complex care needs. Excellent training is provided.
We are looking to expand our team due to an increase in our clients care needs. We have a full time post or part time day shifts available, two waking night shifts and bank shifts available. Evening shifts are also available.
If you have experience in care, we’d love to hear from you. Equally, if you have a genuine caring nature and are seeking a change to a career in care, we provide full training along with a supportive and friendly team.
Support Workers need to be well organised with a positive attitude, quick learners and good communicators to assist our client.
Initial rates of pay: £13.00 to £15.00 per hour in the probation period whilst the client specific specialised training/in house training and induction are completed. We will complete this as quickly as possible.
Pay rates: £15.00 per hour weekday, and £17.00 per hour Saturday and Sunday once probation period is completed.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate and induction training.
All posts are subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult Workforce Barring. A full driving licence is essential.
