Established in 2005, Arundel Care Services provide both residential care and supported living to adults with Learning Disabilities across Sussex.

Specialising in supporting adults who have learning disabilities and/or autism, those who can at times displays behaviours that others may find challenging, and other complex needs.
Role & Responsibilities
We are currently looking for positive, compassionate, and caring Support Workers to join our supported living service in Peacehaven. This service supports four older adults who have a more severe learning disability and some health needs.
Duties may include:
- Assist the service users with their individual support plans and help them to achieve their goals.
- Participate in providing day care activities for the service users.
- Undertake tasks of a domestic nature, e.g. shopping, cooking, laundry, house cleaning.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with service users relatives, outside agencies and other professionals.
- Assist service users in their personal care when appropriate.
- To develop a full knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures pertaining to the service users. Including reports, support plans and daily recordings.
- To undertake the role of keyworker for specific service users as directed by the home’s manager.

We will give you all the training and support you need, with the potential to obtain a qualification in health and social care and/or Positive Behaviour Support.

Requirements:
- Staff work on a shift basis across the week and have a monthly rota, some weekend working is required.
- Please note that all of our positions require an Enhanced DBS check in relation to adults.
- Full UK driving licence is preferable
