Location: Sites across Glasgow (Maryhill, Bellahouston and Govan)
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £21,499.00 – £22,287.00 (£11.03 to £11.43 per hour; Salary Point 13 to 19)
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
The role is within the Way Forward services which has two sites based in Govan and Broomhill. The two sites are registered as Care at home/housing support, this is a challenging and exciting opportunity to make a difference to people who have a diagnosed Mental Health condition. The service strives to support people to achieve their identified outcomes and live as independently as they can. The team support the people who use our services with daily living tasks, medication, liaise with primary health care services, enabling individuals to achieve their chosen outcomes.
What we are looking for
You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills and a mature attitude together with adaptability and enthusiasm. We don’t need you to have any specific qualifications or experience to join us, but what we do ask is you have right attitude and values, as respect and dignity are at the heart of everything we do at SAMH. We will ask you to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) membership scheme, and register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). The posts will involve a variety of shift patterns including evenings, weekends and two sites requires a sleepover and on call shifts.
