Job Title: Support to Safety Duty Worker
Location: Barking and Dagenham
Salary: £28,104 per annum
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
The duty workers will work closely with Refuge’s commissioned service in Barking and Dagenham and management team. The duty worker will be calling survivors, assessing their risks and needs; the duty worker will action immediate safety actions or needs and then the survivor will be handed over to the community hub teams to provide ongoing support. Refuge’s management team will manage the duty teams, taking overall responsibility for monitoring, reporting, and meeting outcomes across the duty team.
The duty workers posts are new and exciting roles in Refuge, with opportunities for everyone in the new service to work across the partnership (and therefore the sector) as well as with the referring agencies.
It is an important aspect of this job that the post holder has experience of working collaboratively with a range of other agencies and strong administration skills.
