Design Technology Technician

Permanent Position (Part Time)

2 or 3 days per week, Term time only
8:15am – 3:45pm (30 minute unpaid break per day)

Salary Grade 5: £21,575 - £22,369 pro rata, per annum

Actual Annual Gross Salary (2 days per week): £6,844 - £7,096

Actual Annual Gross Salary (3 days per week): £10,267 - £10,645

The Cherwell School is a successful comprehensive school in Oxford, rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic technician to work in our Design Technology Department, which is part of our Art, Design Technology and Engineering Faculty. It is a thriving faculty, based on both sites of the school (the sites are separated by the Marston Ferry Road). The South Site is predominantly for year 7, 8 & 9, while the North Site is for year 10 to 13 students. We are able to accept applications from those who have different skills within the Art area; including painting, drawing, printing, 3D, photography, digital technology, textiles and ceramics. Applicants with specialisms or a wide range of skills are welcome to apply.
