IT Support Technician
Stephenson Academy currently provides education for students aged between 11 and 16 years. We are the local secondary SEN provision for students with social emotional and mental health needs. We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality curriculum, truly individualised to meet the needs of our students, ensuring successful outcomes for all.
They are looking for an IT Support Technician to provide 1st Line and 2nd Line IT support to Stephenson (MK) Trust across four separate sites within Milton Keynes. You will effectively executing assigned tasks and responsibilities, leveraging relevant skills, knowledge and experience while collaborating with colleagues and the senior leadership team to achieve shared goals and objectives improving the use and access of IT throughout the Trust for both staff and students.
You will be responsible for;
- Managing the Help desk
- Virtual Desktops and User Maintenance
- Hardware Repairs / End User Support
- Manage the content filtering system on the Internet
- Provide support to administrators for the updating of the Academy websites
- Manage changes to the VOIP system
- Monitor operational capability of the CCTV system across all sites
- Server Management and Back-up/File Recovery
- Inventry Signing in system
- Network layout and maintenance
- Any other duties as required
