Due to growth and progression within the business, we are now looking for a driven & client focussed Technical Support Engineer to join our team.
As a Technical Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Providing first class technical support, via IT helpdesk, phone, email and face-to-face
- Assisting and leading on a variety of projects, both internally and on client sites
- Identifying and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, both remotely and in person, delivering technical resolutions as they arise and identifying root causes, implementing enhancements to prevent future occurrences.
- Developing strong client relationships, going the extra mile to deliver an exceptional service
- Testing and evaluating new technology
- Collaborating with colleagues, ensuring issues are resolved effectively and within agreed timescales.

About you:
Experience gained working in an IT support role
A passion for IT, keen to learn new skills and embrace emerging technologies.
High levels of organisation and time management, with the ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast paced, often pressurised environment.
A strong relationship builder with a proactive and problem-solving approach, willing to go the extra mile to deliver an exceptional client experience.
A collaborative team player and a results focused, motivated self-starter.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Commercially aware, seeking to drive improvement and add value
The ability to diagnose hardware and software problems on servers and end-user devices.
A good understand of a wide range of technology, to include some of the following…
- Administering and configuring Microsoft 365 platform (Azure Active Directory, Exchange On-line, Dynamic Group Creation, MS Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Deploying and administering Windows Server 2012 onwards
- Experience with Windows (7 or later) and/or Android, iOS, MacOS
- Knowledge of VMWare and Hyper-V virtualisation platforms
- Understanding of networking concepts
- Experience of using Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
- Understanding of PC components and compatibility, with the ability to assemble / replace parts as necessary
- Experienced of server and cloud back-up solutions
- Experience of VoIP and video conferencing platforms
- Experience of Synology and QNAP NAS appliances

This is a full-time role within the hours of 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday, based a walking distance away from Leeds City Centre in LS11 (c.10-15minutes from the Train Station).
If you do hold a driving licence, travel will be required which is currently on average 2 days out of the office per week, subject to workload and change. The majority of our clients are currently based within 1 hour drive of Leeds.
