Job description
We are a car transporter company based near Carlisle Airport with a fleet of over 500 car transporters that operate on a national network system.
As part of the ECM IT Service Desk function the Trainee IT Support Technician role will be required to provide end-user support and maintain the IT infrastructure. Duties include managing incidents and service requests; hardware configuration, deployment, and support; software installation; infrastructure checks and housekeeping activities; and the investigation of network problems.
You will be provided with training covering all aspects of the role and will be required to complete IT training courses and qualifications.
Ideally, candidates should have experience in some of the following areas:
· Windows 10/11 Operating Systems
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications
· PC hardware, peripherals, and smartphone experience
· Networking
· Providing end user support
Applicants should also have good problem-solving and communication skills.
Whilst not essential, prior IT Support experience and IT qualifications would be beneficial.
Remuneration is negotiable and dependent upon relevant experience and qualifications.
