IT Support Technician

Normanton, Wakefield

£24,500 per annum plus benefits (Company Pension, 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays)

Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our Wakefield based client to recruit an IT Support Technician on a permanent, full time basis.

Located at our client’s brand new state of the art office boasting a free on-site gym, free car parking and canteen, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:

• First point of contact for IT support within the organisation
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
• Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components
• Installing and upgrading anti-virus and firewall software
• Supporting colleagues whenever they encounter challenges with computers and network devices
• Maintaining and updating the IT knowledge base regularly
• Testing new hardware and software before full-scale installation

You will need:

• Previous experience of working in a hands-on and fast paced IT environment
• Problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work well under pressure
• Extremely organised and process driven
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows 11
• Experienced in configuring of computers and peripherals and servicing with basic repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot system faults and solving hardware/software issues
• Experience with network cabling
• Use of cloud-based Mail Servers, Exchange Online or GSUITE
• Experience with ERP Systems (SAP, Dynamics 365, Epicor ERP) is desirable but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to communicate effectively across all departments
• The ability and confidence to work both alone and as part of a small team
