Salary: £52,084+ (Commensurate with skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
- Plan and coordinate assigned activities to meet agreed schedules to the standard required across team(s).
- Coordinate and manage physical resources required across our central maintenance, Aircraft ground equipment and electronic support teams, to ensure output and quality are maintained.
- Contribute to and Coordinate maintenance strategy and team development for new technologies, including collaborative robotic and automated production processes.
- Provide topical management information/trend data and escalate significant issues as appropriate.
- Effectively communicate, in a timely manner, relevant information to team(s), encouraging contribution and acting on feedback as appropriate.
- In the absence of the Line Manager/Supervisor, carry out, as requested, some or all aspects of the role.
Your skills and experiences:
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of Operation’s Maintenance together with a working knowledge of continuous improvement / lean manufacturing techniques, manufacturing engineering systems, inspection techniques, quality standards, financial controls, Safety Health Environment.
Essential
- Time Served NVQ level 3, Multi-skilled or Electrical
- IT Literacy, Good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Applications
Desirable
- Previous experience of Operation’s Maintenance
- Electrical Engineering Background
The Site Production Maintenance Team:
General maintenance of site production and equipment, including aircraft ground equipment. This is a customer facing role, with exposure to external stakeholders. The Site Production Maintenance Team is multidisciplinary working with Typhoon production teams, Falcon Works, Future Product Capability Teams, Technical Design and Flight Test teams. This role also provides exciting opportunities for overseas travel.
