We’re looking for an enthusiastic and aspiring individual to join our Support Specialist team to focus on providing stakeholders from across the firm with support on a variety of administrative tasks and processes, on a transactional basis (see Core responsibilities). The successful candidate will contribute to the overall performance of the team and should have excellent communication skills to quickly build rapport and form relationships with stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and written skills is essential to ensure services are delivered to a high standard.


Being a strong team player is key, proactively sharing knowledge and expertises within the team, whilst keeping up to date with emerging technology, in order to deliver a seamless service.


The successful candidate will work as part of the Support Specialist team who are based in multiple offices across the UK. They will provide administrative support to our firm’s internal stakeholders and business processes ensuring tasks are carried out in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.


Whilst not an exhaustive list, the responsibilities for the role will include:

  • Responding To Work Requests - providing administrative support to stakeholders from across the firm on a transactional basis.

  • Connecting - acting as conduit to help others resolve their problems, and get answers to their questions, and maintaining links to support the Infrastructure & Workplace Services function.

  • Diary/Meeting Support - Organising meetings (internal or client) and managing existing calendar invites, associated room bookings, catering, AV requirements, name badges, etc.

  • Travel Management - Research and organisation of travel requests, Itinerary preparation for complex travel, booking flights, trains, accommodation, car hire, etc. Ensuring adherence to PwC travel policy.

  • Documents - Prepare, amend, format, scan, print documents and correspondence – complying with brand and risk procedures – including letters of engagement, PowerPoint/Slides presentation, minutes of meetings etc.

  • Expenses - timely preparation of complex expense claims for stakeholders.

  • Software - supporting with issuing software licences.

  • Research - providing support with various research tasks.

  • Process Support - supporting various parts of the business with the administration of defined processes.

  • Team Support - provide support for unplanned/emergency absences and act as a point of contact for urgent queries during planned and pre-agreed absence cover.

Essential skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and manage a wide range of stakeholder relationships, most of which will be on a remote / virtual basis.

  • Experience to confidently manage and prioritise workload effectively to achieve deadlines, whilst always maintaining an exceptional quality of work and high levels of attention to detail.

  • Agility to learn and follow new defined processes and procedures quickly and efficiently.

  • Act as a strong team player by supporting colleagues, actively sharing your knowledge and expertise, thus ensuring the Support Specialist team delivers a seamless service.

  • A curious mindset to emerging technologies to support new ways of working and the ability to embrace and adapt to new technology in a fast moving tech environment.

  • Spot opportunities to provide technology solutions to add value and efficiency to the customer experience, and improve our processes
