Renewal Health Group / Montare Behavioral Health is currently hiring for an IT Specialist for our Residential Treatment Centers!
This position will be based in the LA area and will work throughout our Residential Treatment Centers.
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide technical assistance to our residential facilities. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth computer operations, camera access support, printer maintenance, computer connections, and managing user accounts for new employees. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining an efficient and secure IT infrastructure across our 24 residential facilities.
Responsibilities:
Set up and configure computer systems, ensuring proper installation and functionality for residential facility staff.- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer-related issues, both hardware and software, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist with camera access support, ensuring video surveillance systems are operational and maintain a high level of security.
- Maintain and troubleshoot printers, ensuring their proper functioning and resolving any printing-related issues.
- Establish and maintain computer connections, both wired and wireless, for seamless network access across the residential facilities.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure efficient integration and compatibility of software applications and systems.
- Manage user accounts, including creating new accounts, assigning access rights, and configuring permissions for new employees.
- Train staff members on basic IT procedures and best practices, promoting efficient and secure computer usage.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in IT support, recommending improvements and implementing innovative solutions where applicable.
- Monitor and maintain the security and integrity of computer systems, including data backup and antivirus protection.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in providing IT support and troubleshooting in a professional setting.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network connections.
- Familiarity with video surveillance systems and camera access support.
- Experience with printer setup and maintenance.
- Solid understanding of user management and access control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.

Pre-Employment Requirements
- Hiring is contingent upon completion of a background check, TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical. Clean driving record and current first aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire. Additional requirements include receiving DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance or an exemption and a submission of a signed Criminal Record Statement (LIC 508). Clean Background is a must.
