Student Support Role - Education Welfare Officer/Attendance Manager

Outwood Academy Haydock

Permanent Post Starting September 2023

Grade 9 point 22-25

£26,590 to £29,308 - 37 hours per week.

Term Time Plus 5 Inset Days, Plus 2 Weeks

The overall purpose of this post is to lead the academy attendance team in providing operational and administrative support to promote whole school attendance strategies.

To support parents/carers to improve their children’s attendance thereby improving their access to learning, enabling all children and young people to maximise their educational opportunities.

Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, able to work as part of a team and committed to making a difference to improving the life chances of our students.

We are an 11-16 academy, based in the former mining village of Haydock, within the large Merseyside town of St Helens.
