IT Support Specialist

We at Connect Hearing, are looking for an IT Support Specialist to come join the team in a Hybrid/Remote opportunity based in Victoria, BC!

Working Location: Hybrid/Remote, Victoria BC

Reporting to: Director of IT

Position Summary:

The IT Support Specialist provides ongoing IT support to our HQ and Clinic teams across our Canadian network. Working closely with our locally-based IT team, you will collaborate on service tickets, troubleshoot emergent IT issues, and assist with program and product launch projects on a national and global level.

What you would be doing:

Provide technical assistance to internal staff via phone and email.
Deploy, manage and support a broad range of IT and Audiometric software and hardware systems.
Troubleshoot 1st/2nd/3rd level support incident tickets.
Diagnose and investigate unique and complex systemic problems.
Assist and lead various technical projects as skillset allows.

What you need:

Formal training in IT systems, networking or computer science, or 3+ years experience in an IT support role.
Experience with Windows Client OS (Windows 10) and Windows Server
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers and colleagues
Ability to work on complex prioritized tasks through to completion
Ability to learn new technologies, processes, and procedures as they become available
