You will support a caseload of young people or adults at risk, using a trauma informed and advantage thinking approach to support them in achieving their goals. You will enable young people to articulate and achieve their ambitions and support residents to acquire skills they need to lead independent, fulfilling lives. A key focus will be coaching young people to manage their occupancy agreement and adhere to house rules, promoting a credit culture and encouraging young people to keep up to date with all payments for rent.
This role is on a rolling rota, working 5 days in 7 days, consisting of two shifts 8am-4pm and 2pm-10pm including weekends and bank holidays. You will get to know the project, along with extensive training prior to starting on a rota.

A successful applicant will be passionate about supporting young people to lead independent lives, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a sense of humour and the drive to deliver an outstanding service. You will be able to facilitate a process of development that allows the young person to take the lead in identifying actions and goals, along with learning about the key risks, challenges, and opportunities for our client group.
