Support Manager
As a Support Manager you will help a diverse range of people who are currently unemployed (participants) to find sustainable employment. You will get to know the participants on your caseload, understand their goals regarding employment, and identify any support or development needs, then jointly create an action plan to include activities with the goal of finding a job. You will support participants to create and update their CV and to search for vacancies, and to prepare for interviews.
You will work autonomously, managing your diary and planning and organising your time effectively to ensure you are supporting your participants towards finding work in an action focused and timely way.
You will be a great communicator, self-motivated, solution focused, with a positive can-do-attitude, able to effectively build relationships and be resilient. You will be confident to establish connections with local employers and community organisations to create opportunities to benefit your participants. This is a busy role, working to targets, therefore you will be confident in prioritising your workload and working to deadlines to achieve and exceed your objectives.
Experience in employability is desirable but not essential. Location
Hybrid working - Lincoln and Gainsborough with one day a week working from home.
