If you have a passion for contributing to the support of ground-breaking, cutting-edge technology, we have opportunities in the Through Life Support profession, providing operational capability for the United Kingdom Rivet Joint aircraft; a key component of the Royal Air Force’s Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) Force.
Employed as an Equipment Support Manager within the Airseeker Delivery Team, you will contribute to the procurement of new reliable, maintainable, sustainable equipment, upgrading existing capabilities and supporting and managing resources and technical information for the UK Rivet Joint fleet using the ILS/IPS principles.
This role is based at our office at RAF Waddington; hybrid working is encouraged however there will be some in-office attendance required and potential for overseas work travel.
Due to the security requirements of this role, applications are open to Sole UK Nationals only.
Please note that salary offers above the £32,500 - £35,000 range will only be made based on exceptional performance.
Responsibilities
· Providing asset management system through-life upkeep and update for equipment or product system status, collaborating with engineering and supply chain colleagues to ensure maintenance and asset records are accurate and current.
· Managing support for stakeholders, customers, and suppliers by coordinating and tracking support solution progress to agreed milestones and targets.
· Contributing to support analysis to inform support solution requirements against equipment procurement and the management and delivery of technical information.
· Contributing to procuring the right equipment or product and/or contributes to Post Design System modifications and updates.
· Contributing to performance monitoring against contracted outputs.
· Providing support in the management of the team, which can include, providing coaching, training, mentoring to junior staff, internal or external stakeholders and cross functional colleagues.
What you will be assessed against
To be successful with your application you must demonstrate that you meet the following essential criteria:
· Experience in delivering asset management and Through Life Support Services.
· Ability to investigate and analyse data/information and solve problems.
· Experience in producing reports/findings for identifying trends/issues for communicating recommendations.
· Evidence of Stakeholder engagement, internal and external at all levels.
· Previous experience either working in a; logistic/equipment/product/asset management, engineering, maintenance environment, or have a related qualification/study/interest.
· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams).
It will also benefit your application if you are able to demonstrate the following desirable criteria :
· Knowledge and understanding of the in-service Aviation engineering asset management system requirements.
· Knowledge and understanding of through life management and how to apply Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) principles across the equipment/product lifecycle.
