2nd Line IT Support Engineer
Nasstar office locations available: Wakefield / Telford / Poole

Responsibilties overview:
- Provide assistance to Level 1 resources to aid them in resolving issues at first contact, and be the primary resolver group for escalated issues from L1
- Work with Level 3 resources and Technical Mentors to improve knowledge and understanding of issues.
- Ensure your list of assigned tickets are regularly updated in line with SLAs, and all investigative work is documented
- Ensure any escalations to vendors are monitored and updated on a regular basis and they are provided with access and knowledge required to service our customers
- Ensure customer environments and managed and maintained to a high standard
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks as required, such as diagnosis of problems, patching and capacity management.
What you will need:
- Experience working within a 2nd Line Service Desk role
- Must have strong experience supporting Citrix Infrastructure, Admin and Backend technologies (Zendesk, FSLogix, Virtual Desktop, XenApp, XenDesktop, Netscaler, App-V, AppSense, CAG, CSG, EdgeSight, Director, PVS/MCS, Thin Clients)
- Solid experience in Microsoft technologies, Microsoft Server, Desktop OS, Exchange, O365, installation of Windows OS
- Strong core networking skills (DHCP, DNS), router/firewall troubleshooting and End User Devices
- Azure administration and configuration
- Windows Server administration and configuration troubleshooting
- Active Directory configuration including Group Policy
