Job description
An IT Support Engineer is required for a permanent opportunity in London.
As part of the team, you will provide technical support on a range of software. You will have the opportunity to gain knowledge on a wide range of IT within the business. The role requires attendance to site to provide User IT Support (1st and 2nd Line), you will use your experience to help our users with day-to-day queries, while also working on various IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the on-site first point of contact for IT hardware and software support.
- Manage firewall configurations and ensure their effective operation.
- Provide support for laptops, including Mac devices.
- Administer and manage user accounts and MS Office 365 profiles.
- Diagnose and resolve issues using systematic troubleshooting skills.
- Perform daily system checks to maintain optimal performance.
- Resolve complex problems and issues in a timely manner based on priorities.
- Occasional on-site support and installations.
- Create user guides and documentation.
- Monitor and maintain networks and hardware resources.
Experience:
- Previous experience providing on-site hardware and software support.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving IT issues using systematic troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with Mac devices and providing support for them.
- Ability to create user guides and documentation.
- Understanding of network monitoring and maintenance of hardware resources.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
