Overview:
SureCare is currently looking to recruit Support/Care Workers to provide care in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.
Typical Children Services Responsibilities:
- Supporting children or young adults with learning/physical disabilities or autism to achieve agreed development outcomes
- Supporting children with physical disabilities with their personal care
- Supporting children or young adults with going out swimming or to the park
- Taking young people out for activities during the school break, organising trips, companionship, shopping, socialising and supporting them with travelling round London
- Acting as a mentor for young adults.
Our expectations:
You do not need to have experience in care or supporting individuals with autism or learning disabilities as training will be provided; however you must have compassion, courage and a willingness to make a difference in the lives of the people you will support.
Key Points:
- To be able to demonstrate a passion and commitment to providing excellent care
- To ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures including all safeguarding procedures
- To be able to maintain your knowledge and skills up to date through the training provided.
- The ability to work in both Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster as required by SureCare Chelsea & Fulham
- The ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with people considering their individual communication needs.
- Accurately maintain all records including personal plans, personal adviser sessions, medication records and financial transaction documentation as required by SureCare Chelsea & Fulham.
- Report and record (as required) any accident or incident which may occur, no matter how minor, to the appropriate person.
- Actively promote an open, honest and high performance culture.
- The ability to work as part of a team within a flexible rota system.
- The position will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check, references and the right to work in the UK.

Working Hours:
All shift patterns required including weekends, early mornings and bank holidays. Availability to work at week-ends is however a must.
