Main Purpose
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join a premier team of Supply Technicians at the 48th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Royal Air Force Lakenheath, United Kingdom.
The primary purpose of this position is to receive, maintain, and issue mobility bags and equipment to home-station and deploying individuals in support of mission requirement. The role involves maintaining stock levels for the Individual Protective Equipment Element of the Logistics Readiness Squadron, ensuring that the Activity complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. You will maintain property accounts and records, completing individual transactions, screening reference files, conducting data searches, and distributing output files. The role also involves performing document control work, involving in the processing of Individual Protective Equipment supply transactions. Furthermore, you will provide assistance to customers, storage depots, or other organizations concerning Individual Protective Equipment and perform general clerical support work.

Knowledge and Experience Required
Applicants must demonstrate the following:
1. Knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques, and methods.
2. Knowledge of policies and procedures for requisitioning and stock control.
3. Knowledge of general office administrative and clerical procedures.
4. Knowledge of data entry and processing of supply transactions in an automated supply system.
5. Ability to research, compile, and analyze supply information and data; receive, screen, review, verify, and maintain
supply documents; and resolve discrepancies.
6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

- Hours of work: Start & end times may be modified due to mission needs and in accordance with organization’s flexible working policies.
- Will be required to handle and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with applicable US and UK laws, rules, and regulations.
- Must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
- May be assigned other duties that are appropriate to the grade and skill set of the employee.
- May be required to travel by military and/or civilian aircraft in the performance of official duties or attend necessary training. Position may be coded as mission essential.
- A 6–12-month probationary period will be required.
- Overtime may be required.
- May be required to travel overnight to US or other countries in the performance of official duties or attend necessary train.
