Job Description
-The Supply Planning Assistant Manager – Jewellery is supporting the Supply Planning Manager – Jewellery, in the set up and delivery of the Supply Planning strategies and processes and acts as the deputy manager within the Supply Planning Jewellery team.

In collaboration with the manager leads the end to end process for supply planning of jewellery: from reception of FC to order book creation and delivery into stock

Acts as the deputy manager of the Supply Planning Manager – Jewellery, as there is a level of travel required within the Supply Planning team it is important that the operations are covered at any point - Monitors and responds to demand fluctuations ensuring the required covers are in place for the FG suppliers to be able to react to demand needs

  • Supports manager in component planning
  • Establishes best practices & finds agile solutions in collaboration with cross functional teams in the building of the Supply Planning department
  • Liaises with suppliers on ways of working and standardises process
  • Manages priorities with Diamond Supply Planning team for smooth production scheduling
  • Ensures, together with the team, to keep information records up to date
  • Builds supply planning structures within new launches and works closely with Supply Planning Coordinator
  • Jewellery on capacity issues and production concerns 2 This role profile acts as a guide to the role only and additional work outcomes may be required to be performed by the incumbent
  • Develops and grows Supply Planning Administrator

  • Qualifications
    -Degree educated, preferred degree in Supply Chain Management or Business
  • Min 5 years in Supply Chain Planning/ Production Planning Mental Processing Ability
  • Understands own role in relation to the team and how it contributes
  • Ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders to achieve objectives Knowledge & Technical Skills
  • Time management: Prioritise, structure work & effectively manage time Awareness of the diamond/luxury jewellery industry bonus
  • Experience working with SAP
  • Excel intermediate
  • Fluent written and spoken English, French/Italian beneficial Social Process Skills
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals
  • Able to manage complex stakeholder discussions
  • Build strong, personal, and effective working relationships
  • Work self-sufficiently with great attention to detail Application and Energy
