Avaliable Job Today What will the apprentice be doing?
- Learn invaluable warehouse and stock management skills, including automated processes
- Learn assembly skills, gaining an understanding of assembly line process, efficiency and
quality
- Assist with all general warehouse duties, completing them in a timely and professional
manner
- Work to standard operating procedures in line with the company policies
- Assist in the unloading of containers, ensuring all pallets and stock are sufficiently wrapped and put away safely in accordance with storage plans and safety procedures
- Check off deliveries received to delivery notes, reporting any discrepancies
- Pick orders from designated areas within the warehouse, in accordance with the picking sheets generated by the Operations Team’s computer systems
- Load vehicles in a safe, presentable manner, highlighting any issues or damage prior to completion and departure
- Assist regular stocktaking, taking care with accuracy of reporting
- Assemble box pack items and quality control of finished goods (training will be given)
- Utilise in-house computer systems in support of both stock management and assembly
activities
- Maintain quality customer service standards by following Organisation and Quality
Standards
- Maintain a high level of Health and Safety awareness, complying with requirements and reporting any areas of concern to the Warehouse Manager immediately
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping pallet area and workstations tidy maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations
- Maintain high standards of general site cleanliness and housekeeping
- To potentially use a counterbalance forklift truck or a flexi high lift machine (all training will
be given to the right candidate)

Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship.
Maths and English Functional skills up to level 2 if required.
