As a Supply Chain Transformation Specialist, you will support all project management and site improvement activities on the PGMS Supply Chain transformation, applying a robust project management methodology. Ensuring transparency on project status, risks & issues and providing stakeholder management communication.
Your will be responsible for executing supply chain projects and improvement actions to drive PGM and strategic supply chain performance.
Platinum Group Metal Services (PGMS) is a leading refiner and recycler of precious group metals. The growing demand for low carbon and responsibly sourced products is creating growth opportunities in critical metals recycling and secondary refining, and as the world’s largest precious metals recycler, PGMS is a key player in the circular economy.
Your responsibilities:
- Support Supply Chain Transformation Lead and Site Managers in delivering transformation programs and projects planning, working with SMEs to deliver a robust project management approach.
- Develop project scope and business case to support stakeholders at all levels to gain approval to implement. Shall include resource identification and financial or non-financial benefits in following the project framework
- Create alignment and sharing of best practices for Supply Chain processes across regional and global sites, including leveraging of global resources to create standard practices
- Coordinate regional project management of milestones, risks and status reporting across manufacturing sites within region following Global PGMs transformation governance framework
- Identify and coordinate project (inter)dependencies ensuring project planning and project management to achieve all project milestones. Including Resource overlaps with other PGMS Transformation and major projects.
- Drive project implementation to full handover to site local teams and provide support on going basis as needed to maintain project intended benefits
- Establish good working relationships across the PGMs sites and business and build trust with site teams well to ensure effective delivery of key milestones and deliverables.
Requirements for the role:
- Project management experience
- Experience of working in a Supply Chain function for 3+ years
- Experience with Sales and Operations planning
- Experience of working cross functionally and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively and provide appropriate challenge and insight, often under time pressure.
