Supply Chain Project Manager Bury, North West England, England
Job description
The client is a leading organisation specialising in supply chain / logistics activities across several industry sectors including Aerospace, Rail, Defence and Manufacturing. Due to continued growth and development, they now urgently require an interim project manager to join their team for a 6-12 month assignment at £600-£750 per day + expenses, outside IR35.
The successful candidate will be a project / programme manager with a proven record of having delivered complex projects and programmes across the supply chain. You will ideally have experience of having worked with major organisations in both the implementation and delivery of projects that may have involved:
Warehouse builds / Relocations / Closures
Automation / MHE
Stock transfers
Contract implementations
Budgets over £10M
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, both with stakeholders and workstream leads, be organised, hold good levels of gravitas and have the proven ability to deliver projects to budget, standard and time. Experience in the defence sector and holding security clearance would be an advantage as would holding a professional project management qualification. Remote working fully supported. We are looking to interview immediately.
