Supply Chain Operations Coordinator -Based at our Head Office, BH23 6HG.
Salary £23,00-£24,000 dependant on experience. Pension with a 4% contribution, 25 days holiday increasing every year, 25% discount in our stores plus many more!
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Operations Coordinator to join our team based at our Head Office in Christchurch, Dorset.
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours. Our core business hours are Monday to Friday – 10am to 3pm with a flexible approach to start and finish times. Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
About the Role
The Supply Chain Operations Coordinator is a pivotal role which is responsible for managing and placing weekly orders that will be delivered into our DC from suppliers on a global basis, alongside managing the intake of these orders the role also takes responsibility for allocation volumes and the timely movement of stock out of DC. Duties will include providing a clear channel of communication between supply chain and DC, dealing with queries in a timely manner and providing support to the Inbound Supply Chain Manager.
This is a fast-paced role which requires strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt focus based on commercial priorities. Strong IT would be desirable.
About you
- 12 months experience in supply chain, ideally logistics/ shipping/freight
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel
- Forecasting experience desirable
- Able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive and flexible approach to managing workload.
- Adopts a problem-solving approach.
- Commercially minded in their decision-making.
- Analytical, organized and with an attention to detail.
- Excellent IT Skills
- Positive and resilient in outlook
- Strong communicator, driven and looks for opportunities to change ways of working.
- Experience of delivering on KPI’s
