Location: Farnborough, Hampshire / remote combination
Start Date: February 2023
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: £19 000 pro rata

As a Supply Chain Innovation Intern at Philips, you will have the opportunity to investigate and create a lasting impact on our Supply Chain through a meaningful assignment in one of our Supply Chain teams. You will focus on ‘learning on the job’ as well as from Supply Chain professionals – we are looking forward to welcoming you in the Philips family!
You will be able to
Support the development of customer centric solutions that enable the improvement of our critical performance in our distribution network.
Have exposure to different departments of the Supply Chain, working with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Be a champion for innovation and digitization of the supply chain in a large-scale multinational company.
Opportunity to work on exciting technology or process innovation within our Supply Chain
You are responsible for
Define, measure, and analyze our customers’ needs to identify the value of the innovation.
Build and communicate a business case about the value of implementing the innovation.
Coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders the required analysis for the experimentation/pilot of innovation.
Support the Supply Chain innovation developments by sharing insights and communicating across internal communication channels on our improvement opportunities.
You are a part of
Our Supply Chain team located across Western Europe. You will be supported by a close-knit team who are based in the UK at our office in Farnborough, Hampshire.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Preferred degree related to data and analytics, engineering, or Supply Chain.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit – ambitious, well-develop organizational skills, eager to learn and to challenge the status quo.
Analytical with systems- and conceptual-thinking mindset.
Skills related to programming, advance data analytics and network optimization are a plus. Good Microsoft excel skills are necessary.
Business fluency in English.
