The Role
The role will support all aspects of the Supply Chain function; it's not just about moving things from A to B
The team is responsible for order & production planning, scheduling, logistics & transport, order management, data & reporting, managing external service providers as well as involvement and leadership within cross-functional continuous improvement and business transformation projects.
Our success hinges on our ability to understand and balance the demands of internal stakeholders and external customers. Supply Chain roles are dependent on high-level, cross-functional communication and liaison that sees our colleagues working with functions including Sales & Marketing, Technical and Operations.
The Apprenticeship
Our apprentice programmes will commence 4th September 2023.
Over 2 years you will spend time on rotation working with our Supply Chain teams to get a rounded experience of what it means to work in Supply Chain. With so many opportunities available there is something for everyone so it is an excellent opportunity to find out what type of role you are best suited to.
Year 1
Alongside the practical experience of working in Supply Chain, in the first year you will complete the Level 3 Diploma in Supply Chain Management. This will be done in the workplace with units which allow you to demonstrate what you are learning on the job.
Year 2
In year 2 you will build on what you have learnt by completing the Level 5 Diploma in Supply Chain Management.
The Candidate
We are looking for someone who is bold and curious.
You'll need to be a logical and analytical thinker with a common sense approach to working with data who is able to come up with solutions to challenges.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are also essential.
What you need
Two A-levels (or equivalent) including a STEM or business-related subject and 5 GCSEs level 9-4 or above (grade C) or equivalent, including Maths and English Language.
