Role: Senior Supply Chain Controller (MRP)

Salary: upto £38,000 Dependent on Experience

Location: Solihull

Type: Full Time, Permanent. Monday to Friday

2 Fawcett are recruiting for a Senior MRP Controller to Join the Supply Chain Team for a market leading company based in Solihull.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Senior MRP Controller

• Disciplinary and/or functional management of employees
• Responsible for resource planning in the assigned area
• Managing and developing the processes governing the flow of information in the supply chain
• Ensuring and monitoring MRP and MRP Control, incl. material planning and procurement, production and deadline planning, customer service and delivery planning
• Responsible for holding regular training and skills development sessions focussing on the SAP MRP master data and the transaction-related expertise of all MRP Controllers at the plant
• Responsible for the accuracy of the master data in the system, as well as the data relating to MRP activities
• Assisting Purchasing and Sales with customer and supplier escalations Responsible for continuous improvements in the assigned areas
• Strategically developing the area taking into account the company's targets and ensuring compliance with the budget

Requirements of the Senior MRP Controller

• Minimum of 3 years MRP experience is essential
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating SAP
• Knowledge of Process and Production Orientation
• Proven experience within the Automotive Industry an advantage
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficient in Quality and Cost Orientation
• Problem solving skills
