Derby Homes is looking for a diligent and enthusiastic individual to join our busy Supply Chain Team, based at London Road, Derby.
This is mainly an administration-based role that supports our Trade teams across the Derby Homes organisation. This role will ensure the Trade teams have the correct materials available to do each job right first time. To ensure the materials are managed efficiently you will carry out the material audits to ensure a high level of control of the stock management is in place. The fundamentals of this varied and fast paced role require analytical skills, accurate data entry and computer skills. This role will include working in various locations which includes at our Partnership Suppliers.
You will need to be an effective communicator, self-motivated, meticulous, and able to work in an organised and methodical manner. You will need to be able to multitask whilst working to tight deadlines. You will be actively involved in updating the housing repairs system to ensure accurate records are maintained and up to date. In this role you will also need to have strong excel skills as you will be collating large amounts of data for management and job costing purposes.
