Job description
The Supply Chain Assistant will be available to work on a full-time basis and work within the supply chain division. This is a varied Supply Chain Assistant position that offers exposure to order management, accounts, warehouse support, expediting purchase orders and all associated administration. The knowledge of at least one of the following languages is essential: Polish, Ukrainian, Latvian or Russian.
Key responsibilities for the Supply Chain Assistant include:
- Administration of the Supply Chain
- Purchase order management (from creation to receipt)
- Invoice query management (with Accounts Payable)
- Expediting of purchase orders
- Queries with suppliers/internal organisation
- Warehouse support (as necessary)
- Logistics support (as necessary)
- Formalising documentation
- Support to the team
- Any other task that is required to fulfil the duties within the Supply Chain
The Supply Chain Assistant will be required to support the Supply Chain team in all tasks and administration. The Supply Chain Assistant position has a level of autonomy to manage purchase order entry and receipt as well as expediting orders with suppliers. There will also be links to supporting any member of the team with warehouse, goods in, logistics, shipping documentation and housekeeping (system related).
