Supplier Service Analyst
Northampton
As a Barclays Supplier Service Analyst, you will build stakeholder relationships and senior engagement with Barclays suppliers in accordance with the Third-Party Service Management Standard. In your role, you will ensure that third-party suppliers who provide a service to Barclays Payments Merchant Services meet their contractual obligations, hence allowing them to deliver their ambitions, with quality assurance and rigor in the execution of business processes. You will also resolve and remediate breaches and identify and deliver cost savings.

- Conducting monthly service review meetings, in conjunction with Procurement to review Supplier contractual performance
- Taking responsibility for resolving incidents between third party suppliers and Barclays
- Being responsible for root cause analyzing through to remediation and lessons learned
- Working with finance business partners to ensure Purchase Orders are raised accurately
- Maintaining of Purchase Orders including accurate invoice reconciliation using appropriate MI from third party suppliers and subsequent invoice approval
- Critiquing billed spend to ensure it reflects the procured service, resolving any inaccuracies and requesting service credits where appropriate
- Taking responsibility to ensure invoices are approved within contractual SLAs
- Forecasting and capacity planning – submitting accurate forecasts that avoid wasted effort and unnecessary destruction costs along with providing adapted forecasts
What we’re looking for:
- Working knowledge of best practice operations management, risk, control, business continuity and systems
- Proactive, motivated individual who is able to plan ahead and prioritise own workload with minimal supervision
- Good communication with the ability to influence stakeholders within Barclays and communicate complex information both verbally and written
- Able to adapt/flex approach to meet changing business demands/deadlines and respond and execute change positively
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Procurement experience
- Knowledge of products/services & systems used across Merchant Services Operations
- Service or Supplier Management experience
- Operational Risk experience

This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
