Job description
FM Conway is currently seeking a Supervisor to join our industry leading Surfacing division. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Surfacing division who encompass all the essential activities needed to keep the UK’s roads in optimum condition. This is a permanent, full time position based from our head office in Sevenoaks. You will be working on our prestigious contracts across a variety of boroughs in Central London and our newly awarded contract with Brighton & Hove City Council. You will supervise and resource the programme of specialist surfacing works, ensuring the team are delivering the works within the correct timescale and quality standards.

Utilising our self-delivery model, with our own in-house teams, plant, equipment and network of asphalt manufacturing and recycling facilities to drive productivity, we ensure that road users can get back to the network with minimal delay or disruption.

Responsibilities of our Supervisor
- Coordinating site resource and programming future work as required
- Supervising safe working processes including carrying out safety audits and quality checks in accordance with pre-determined targets
- Attending regular site meetings with clients on and off site
- Completing and submitting all requirement documentation including labour output and invoicing
- Ensuring the team communications are carried out effectively and understood
- Supervising the teams performance ensuring standards and targets are achieved
What we’re looking for in our Supervisor
We are looking for highly motivated and passionate Supervisor who has previous experience working in a construction or highways environment. You will have excellent stakeholder management experience and be able to lead an operations team. You must hold a CSCS card and as travel will be required to and from other company sites, you must possess a full UK driving licence.
