Superintendent
Berkeley, CA
- Keeps project clean and always enforces safety.
- Schedules and supervises all labor and materials on the jobsite.
- Coordinates subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work gets done efficiently and makes sure the work meets the highest quality standards.
- Maintains positive relationships with subcontractors and understands each subcontractor’s scope of work.
- Communicates frequently and efficiently with Project Manager and Clients regarding project status.
- Ensures project is completed within the budget and schedule from start to finish.
- Holds Subcontractor meetings that detail schedules and safety. Assures accurate minutes are taken.
- Completes Daily Logs with detailed information on events that would impact the project.
- Develops, distributes, and updates the project schedule including coordination with the Project Manager and subcontractors to create and maintain a realistic schedule.
- Resolves conflicts arising on the jobsite quickly and thoroughly.
- Understands all project documentation to clarify any questions and communicates any necessary changes to the team.
- Understands job cost codes
- Keeps entire team informed of changed conditions.
- Attends staff and safety meetings to keep updated on company policies and progress.
- Manages project closeout including supervising all punch list items
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Project Superintendent on multi-family projects or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills including the ability to use Bluebeam/PDF, spread sheets, online plan rooms and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Project is preferred.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
