Sunday Sales Assistant – Books and Media
We are recruiting for a Sunday sales assistant to join our Books and Media store in Swindon town centre. Love books and media (Vinyl, CD’s etc)? This opportunity is perfect for someone who has excellent organisation skills, is hands on, proactive, creative and driven to join the team at our Books and Media Store in Swindon town centre.
No two days in our shops are ever the same. From the exciting donations that come through our door, to the wonderful customers who shop with us. Our shops are ever changing, but one thing that never changes is that we need great people to help us to spread the power of kindness.
Hours: 6 hours per week 10am – 4pm (Sundays, with flexibility to work on bank holidays as required)
What is the role?
The Sunday sales assistant will take an active role in generating sales in the shop. You will take every opportunity to do this through your first class customer service skills. You will be an ambassador for Prospect Hospice, our aims and objectives and provide an outstanding customer experience for the local community. This is a great role to develop a wide range of skills to aid your future career.
You will receive full training and support from experienced, knowledgeable and friendly managers and team members. Key to the weekend sales assistant role is that: you enjoy working with volunteers, you’re a team player and you have knowledge of fashion trends.
Previous retail experience would be useful but not essential. If you have a passion for second hand, recycling, upcycling and enjoy being in a role that builds strong relationships, then we would love to hear from you!
