Job description
We're looking for a part-time summer intern to work in our marketing team. This is ideal for a, undergraduate or recent graduate marketing student specialising in digital marketing. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your skillset and gain real-world experience in content creation and social media. When applying please state whether 21 or 28 hours would be best for you.
As a summer intern with us at Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans you will be creating multi-media content and supporting with our social media (always-on). Over the three months you will learn what it is like to execute social media for an organisation, meeting content and brand guidelines whilst contributing to the social media strategy execution. This role would be ideal for a newly graduated marketeer or undergraduate marketing student looking to develop real workplace experience.
You will be creating image, video and audio content to cover each of our content pillars and accommodate for multiple platforms. The platforms we have are Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube and each charity has a set of platforms each apart from YouTube which is joint.
You will create a monthly report for the social media activity to help build your knowledge in monitoring performance and adjusting your content practices where appropriate.
You will be responsible for community management over your three-month internship too with support from the wider marketing team.
