For our London office, we are looking to hire 3 interns for the below position:
Summer Internship (3rd July – 30th September) - UK Investment Banking, London
Your responsibilities:
- Assisting the senior team in providing high quality corporate broking client service and dealing with external parties and internal departments
- Preparation of marketing and transaction documents (e.g. capital market updates, investor feedback and steering committee meetings)
- Supporting the execution of due diligence activities and reviewing transaction documents.
- Providing detailed analysis and screening of companies as well as industry sectors, in preparation for origination initiatives and client pitches
- Actively support the senior team in executing transactions (e.g. capital increases and secondary placements, initial public offerings and M&A)
- Supporting the financial valuation of companies based on common valuation methodologies
Upon successful completion of the internship program, candidates will be considered for a full-time role.
Your profile:
- Stellar academic record, with at least a Bachelor’s degree from a top higher education institution
- Previous internships or trainee experience within an investment bank or corporate finance firm with exposure to ECM transactions highly welcomed
- Strong knowledge of company valuation, financial modelling and highly numerate
- Someone who thrives in a high-pressure, yet rewarding environment
- Excellent understanding and genuine curiosity about Equity Capital Markets
- Adopts an analytical and methodical way of working combined with a high degree of self-motivation
- Quick and keen learner with a strong ability to work in a team
- Extensive experience in all standard MS Office applications
- FactSet and Bloomberg skills are a significant advantage
- At the time of commencing employment, successful applicants must have full working rights for the UK
