Summer Enrolment Assistants

Activate Learning are looking for several temporary Summer Enrolment Assistants to join our Advice Centre, Call Centre and Data teams on a casual basis and support with our main student enrolment period, with a variety of working patterns available between mid-June to end of September 2023.

About the role: Summer Enrolment Assistants

We are looking for temporary Summer Enrolment Assistants to join our teams on a casual basis between mid-June to end of September 2023 to support with our main student enrolment period.

We have a variety of exciting roles available within our Advice Centre, Contact/Call Centre and Data Teams across our colleges in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Surrey, both front facing and back office and offering up to 42.5 hours per week. Please note on your application form your campus preference and working hours, if part time.

In these roles, no two days are the same. From responding to enquiries, supporting with administrative tasks, and offering technical support to perspective students. You will be joining our established team of friendly advisers to ensure we deliver and maintain an exceptional service to all customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in expanding their skills in customer service and administrative support within the education sector, as well as a range of transferrable skills.

You may not have considered using your skills in this way before, so this could take your career and experience in a new direction and may also present opportunities longer term, to provide you with a varied and fulfilling career path.

What do you need to be successful as an Enrolment Assistant at Activate Learning?

You will have a positive mindset and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. No experience is required.

Strong personal organisation and communication skills are required for this role. IT skills are essential, along with the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.

This is a fast-paced environment, and as a team we will handle a large volume of enquiries, we are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, and have a flexible approach, with a proactive attitude to problem solving and the ability to work to deadlines.

For Surrey campuses - Full driving licence and access to a car is desirable as there would be the requirement to travel between our Guildford College, Merrist Wood and Farnham College campuses.
