An exciting opportunity has become available at CADS as we look to recruit a part-time Studios & Projects Coordinator to join our team as we continue our mission to support, promote and provide space for arts and culture in Sheffield. £21,225 Pro Rata, 20 hours p/w.

Job Description
The role will involve being the first point of call for several sites across Sheffield used by artists, creative businesses and cultural events. Responsibilities will include arranging site visits and introducing new studio holders to our policies and processes, undertaking basic maintenance
and repair work, engaging contractors for larger works, responding to emails for studio enquiries, and assisting with the delivery of cultural events. You will be responsible for nurturing a strong, collaborative and engaged community of creatives within our sites and wider networks.
The ideal candidate will be a very approachable and enthusiastic person who is dedicated to delivering excellent customer service working with our studio holders, partners and visitors. Ideally you will have experience within the creative or third sector, and will be great at working as part of a team as well as having the initiative to work independently. Strong communication
skills are also required, along with a good attention to detail and a sound knowledge of health and safety within buildings will also be advantageous.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
GCSE grade C or above in Mathematics and English or equivalent. (essential)
Experience:
Experience in facilities and/or building management (desirable)
Experience in a customer facing role (desirable)
Experience in event management (desirable)
Skills / Knowledge:
Must be able to complete small DIY tasks (essential)
Computer literate (essential)

Job Responsibilities
To ensure the smooth running of CADS buildings, working closely with the CADS SMT (Senior Management Team), studio holders, partners and visitors.To maintain the upkeep of our buildings, to include, but not limited to, identifying and coordinating any repairs as and when needed.Ensure any external contractors working on site within a relevance to your remit are working within the buildings Health & Safety policies and good working practices.To act as a key holder, opening, closing and securing buildings as required.Support the CADS SMT in studio operations, to include, but not limited to, correspondence, viewings, key handovers and contracts.Ensuring all Health and Safety policies are adhered to.Supporting SMT and leading on events at The Abbeydale Picture HouseSupporting SMT on events at other sitesCADS are committed to building an inclusive employer and workplace and recruiting a workforce that is as diverse as the community of Sheffield
